Sunday 4th October – orchard work party
This will probably be our last scything session of the year, and we’re really hoping there will be a few apples to harvest too… For those who don’t fancy wielding a scythe, there is lots of raking to do behind the scythers, and also work adjusting tree guards and doing a little bit of summer pruning.
Friday 30th October – tree paste workshop
Learn all about biodynamic tree paste, get mucky making some together and then help us paint it on the orchard trees. Free workshop, but please book a place.
Sunday 8th November – orchard work party
Hopefully the scything is done and we may even be able to make a start on the winter pruning – or be busy setting up our new orchard base in the old horsebox.
