Sunday 9th March – orchard work party
We will be continuing our winter pruning, with guards to adjust, potentially some weeding and mulching, replacing labels and deploying hessian wrap as a vole protection.
Friday 14th March – Oakbrook Orchard x Stroud Community Agriculture
We’ll be working with staff and volunteers from SCA to move some orchard trees, helping make the orchard an easier place for them to start growing field scale veg.
Sunday 6th April – orchard work party
We’ll be hoping to finish off our winter pruning rounds, giving each tree a bit of tlc – pruning, mulching, adjusting guards, weeding, protecting them from voles with hessian wrap. Plenty of jobs for everyone!
